Event Description

Join Special Olympics Northern California for the Bay Area’s coolest event of the year – the 3K/5K Dash & Splash Fun Run/Walk & Polar Plunge! As you run or walk the beautiful 3K/5K course, you’ll enjoy majestic views of the Golden Gate Bridge, Chrissy Field and the Bay! Then cool off in the best way as you Plunge into the San Francisco Bay! Whether you Dash or Splash – you’re sure to have a great time for our Special Olympics athletes!

Event details and schedule

We suggest you arrive at least one hour prior to the 3K/5K so you have time to park, check in and stretch! And don't forget, costumes are encouaged!

For your GPS: 3K/5K and Plunge Registration takes place at Little Marina Green, Yacht Rd. If there's rain, registration will take place in the the parking lot.

Registation Open: 8:30 to 9:15 a.m.

Opening Ceremonies: 9:15 to 9:30 a.m.

5K Starts: 9:30 a.m.

Plunge: Noon

Post Party (Lunch & Plunge awards): 12:30p.m. and on
