Reverse-order Sprint Triathlon & 5K Only

What I love about this race:
A reverse-order triathlon is a perfect race for first-time triathletes. All racers begin at the same time with a 5k run, followed by a 12-mile bike ride, and a 300-yard swim and run up the beach to the finish line. I love starting the race strong with the run, biking a challenging cycling course, and ending the race with a refreshing dip in the pool.  Not only do you get to participate in one of the earliest outdoor triathlons of the year, but you also will receive two free passes (a $43.98 value) to Splash Summit Water Park with each individual registration.

DISTANCE
5K run (3.1 miles), ~12 mile bike ride, 300 yard swim

RACE START
All racers will begin at the starting line for the run, starting at 7:30 a.m. After running for 3.1 miles, racers will then transition within the park and exit on their bikes. Following a 12-mile bike ride, racers will come back into the transition area, leave their bikes, and jump into the pool for 300 yards to swim, and then walk out of the water along the beach to the finish line. 
 
TRIATHLON AWARDS
All triathlon participants will be given a swag bag including an awesome, super-soft t-shirt, race bib, and athletic product samples. Triathlon finishers will also receive a finisher medal and will be in the running for awards as listed below.

Special awards will be given to the top three male and female triathlete finishers overall.

Other awards will be given in the following categories:
19 and under – men and women
20-24 men and women
25-29 men and women
30-34 men and women
35-39 men and women
40-44 men and women
45-49 men and women
50-59 men and women
60+ men and women
Top three teams overall

5K AWARDS
All 5K participants will be given a swag bag including an awesome, super-soft t-shirt, race bib, and athletic product samples. Special awards will be given to the top three male and female 5K finishers overall.

REGISTRATION PRICES

Sprint Triathlon Individual Racers:
$60 entry fee through December 31
$70 entry fee through February 28
$80 entry fee through April 30
$90 entry fee and (possibly) no t-shirt) through May 21

Sprint Triathlon Teams (includes three swag bags and t-shirts - a team of 2-3 people where one person does the swim, one does the bike, one does the run):
$90 entry fee through December 31
$110 entry fee through February 28
$130 entry fee through April 30
$150 entry fee through May 21, and (possibly no t-shirts)

5K ONLY:
$30 entry fee

THERE WILL BE NO RACE-DAY REGISTRATION
