Event Description

The Eta Pi Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. invites you to join us for a 5K run to promote healthy living. We've all been looking for ways to stay in shape during the pandemic, and here's your chance to show the results! The event will be virtual to ensure the safety of participants. You may run your race at any time between May 15 - May 29 anywhere you'd like. If you wish, you can submit your time and be recorded as a finisher. Cutoff for race time submission will be May 29 at 11:59 PM.

Is this a race?

No, this is a fun run, but you're welcome to compete. You can submit your time, which will be posted and ranked on the Results page. We'll recognize the fastest times by gender. You can also submit your completion of the 5K distance without submitting your time. It's entirely up to you.

What's the price?

There is no registration fee, and donations are purely optional.

How does a virtual race work?

You take your 5K (3.1 mile) run/walk between 5/15/21 and 5/23/21 and capture a shot of your result in the tracking app of your choice. You then email the screenshot to EtaPiQues@gmail.com with the subject line "#CommunityQues5K". Include your name in the email. Then post your results in the RunSignUp program.
