Event Description

Race #5 takes place on January 17, 2015, in Point Mugu State Park, but for this event we start on the northern edge of the park. The start is in Rancho Sierra Vista/Satwiwa National Park in Newbury Park (just west of Thousand Oaks). This event is the Grand Daddy of the series, not for the faint of heart, but if you dare to enter you’ll experience some of the most scenic back country in the Santa Monica Mountains. The 6k is a great intro event with paved roads and singletrack along Upper Sycamore Canyon.

The event field is limited, so enter early.  Please note that the course closes at 11:30am, so you must finish before then!

• Soft cotton race t-shirt – subject to availability for race day registrations
• Finisher medal

• Entry into the raffle

Packet Pick Up & Race Day Registration

Both Race Day Packet Pick Up (#s and shirts) and Race Day Registration will be located offsite at The Village at Dos Vientos Ranch. There is NO PARKING at the race start! Plan for arriving at 6:30 a.m. to the new offsite location. Note: The parking lot is located 1.5 miles from the race start (so if you want a warm up run, you can run it)!

YOU MUST BRING PROOF OF REGISTRATION TO PICK UP YOUR BIB! This includes: registration email, credit card statement, canceled check or email confirmation from Generic Events. No Exceptions!
