Event Description
Join us for a fun run through Historic Downtown Gallatin, TN. Dress up in your most creative St. Patrick's Day attire and help us raise money for grants which will be awarded to Gallatin teachers to fund innovative educational programs.
START LOCATION: Gallatin City Hall, 132 W Main Street, Gallatin, TN
This primarily flat course is great for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. The 10K participants will run the 5K course twice and have 90 minutes to complete the race. Participants in the 5K will be grouped by estimated completion time and have 60 minutes to finish.
Prizes will be awarded to top finishers male and female, and awards will be given for the best St. Patrick's Day costume and the most team spirit.
Proceeds from this race go to fund educational grants for GAllatin teachers for innovative educational programs through the Gallatin Shamrock Run, a 501(c)3 organization. Your generosity is greatly appreciated.
IMPORTANT: We are closely monitoring the COVID-19 situation and are following guidelines as provided by the State of Tennessee Department of Health. We realize changes can occur rapidly and we are prepared to make necessary modifications to events, should there be a need, as safety of our vendors and attendees are of greatest concern.
Please note that the event format may change to a VIRTUAL RACE should the need arise to make a format change. Should changes occur to this event, you will be notified of the change via email as soon as possible. No refunds will be issued as the event will become a VIRTUAL RACE and will not be cancelled. We appreciate your understanding and commitment to keeping the Gallatin community safe and strong.
What is a virtual race? A virtual race is a race that can be run (or walked) from any location you choose. You can run, job, or walk on the road, on a trail, on the treadmill, at the gym, or on the track. You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time yourself. Once you complete your run (or walk) and register your completion (information will be provided on this procedure), your medal and shirt (if applicable) will be shipped directly to you.

Date of the Event: Saturday, March 13, 2021
Registration, the morning of the event, will open at 6:15 am. The 10K race will start promptly at 7:15 am with the 5K run/walk kicking off at 7:30 am. Roads will close at 7:00 am in and around the racecourse. (Map and Parking information will be provided by the end of February) The race will begin at Gallatin City Hall parking lot, 132 W Main Street in Gallatin, Tennessee.
Participants must register by February 11, 2021, to be guaranteed a race shirt.
Packet Pick Up: Thursday, March 11th, 2 pm to 5 pm, Friday, March 12th, 10 am to 5 pm, and 6:15 am on Saturday, March 13th.
