The Robert H. Waters Chapter of the Black Law Students Association at the University of Miami School of Law invites you to participate in the 2021 Virtual Miami Law Black Law Students Association's Black History Month 5K Fundraiser. UM BLSA would like to kickoff the first weekend of Black History Month (Friday, February 5th, 2021-Sunday, February 7th, 2021) with the Virtual 5K Fundraiser to promote health and overall wellness in the Black community. Participants are able to complete their 5K run at any time between Friday, February 5th, 2021 starting at 5:00am through Sunday, February 7th, 2021 at 8:00pm. 

This year, UM BLSA's fundraiser looks differently to ensure that participants are socially distanced and safe. The virtual race can be run or walked from any location you choose. You can run, jog, or walk on the road, on the trail, on the treadmill, at the gym or on the track (or even at another race). You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself. Running and walking on your own, or with family! All registered runners will be able to submit their official times to be eligible for first and second place prizes.
