Event Description

COME JOIN IN A 56-YEAR TRADITION!!

Please join us for the annual running (56 years for the Arts Festival by the way!) of the Cedar Valley Arts Festival 5K & 10K Road Race!  Once again held in beautiful Peek Park located at 607 N. College St. in downtown Cedartown, GA.  This flat and fast course that follows paved public roads (closed during the race) along a very scenic and private lake along a historic route throughout downtown Cedartown.  

Proceeds from the race go to benefit the Cedartown Junior Service League Endorsed Projects as well as  Local high school scholarships (including for Cedartown and Rockmart High Schools)

BOTH the 5K and the 10K are Certified Peachtree Qualifiers!  (5K USATF Certification# GA13100WC & 10K USATF Certification# GA19004WC.)  

After the race, plan to hang around for the 56th Annual Arts Festival which opens at 10:00 AM with tons of vendors, food, and entertainment for the whole family! 

Race Details and Logistics:
Saturday, April 24th. 2021
5K & 10K Start Time:  8:00 AM

Please Note: Wheelchair Athletes will Start at 7:30 AM and have an option to select 5K or 10K 
Pre-Registration Fees:
5K:      $20
10K:    $25
Race-Day Registration Fees:
5K:      $30
10K:    $35
Race-Day Registration will begin at 7:00 AM

Awards:
Awards will be presented at approximately 9:30 AM in the Peek Park Amphitheatre.
Unique engraved medallions will be given to Top 3 overall Female and Male Runners, and the Top overall Female and Male Masters Runner(s).

Age Group Medals will be given to the top 3 in each age group as follows:
         10 & under, 11-14, 15-19,20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & over

Parking: 
Parking will not be available on the course, as it will be roped off.  Parking will also be limited in Peek Park.  Most runners will find parking near the course on the sides of N. College Street.

Pre-Race Packet Pick-Up:
Pre-Race Packet-Pick-Up Information will be communicated to each pre-registered runner via email prior to Race Day. 
Please Note: Potential COVID Protocols will be communicated prior to Race Day via email to all registered runners.

Please also Note: This is a Rain or Shine event and given the charitable nature of the event, there are no refunds available.
