Event Description

New in 2015, the top male and top female finishers in the "Conquer the Canyon" Wildcat Run each receives a $100 prize.

The reward for all runners will be the experience of following in the footsteps of champions. For the past 25 consecutive years, the perennial league champion, CIF champion and now defending State champion Brea Olinda High School cross country teams have hosted the Brea Invitational high school meet at Carbon Canyon Regional Park. Now runners of all ages have the opportunity to "Conquer the Canyon."

The 3-mile course takes runners through Orange County's only giant redwood grove, alongside a serene lake,  through rugged canyon trails and to the top of a ridge that offers stunning views of Catalina Island and the Palos  Verdes peninsula. The finishing stretch is a thrilling, downhill adventure on grass between tall trees. Live results through FinishedResults.com.

After the run, stay to watch some of Southern California's finest prep runners take on the same course as they race to  win the Brea Invitational.

All proceeds benefit the Brea Olinda High cross country programs.
