The Bristlecone Birkebeiner Winter Fest is a cross-country ski, snowshoe, and fat tire bike race. It was historically a cross country ski event held outside of Ely, Nevada on Ward Mountain Recreational Area (North Trailhead) throughout the 1980's. Today, multiple types of snow events provide for all skill levels with a short course (1.5 miles), long course (4.1 miles), and kid's race (<1 mile). The rolling hills and tree-lined course is fun for the novice and expert alike.
If snow conditions are insufficent for a ski race on, we will hold a foot trail and fat tire/mountain bike races instead.
All participants will receive a race buff.
