Corbin Tourism and Convention Commission and Corbin Parks and Recreation present the Colonel Sanders Half Marathon! This year we have also added a 10K Race! Explore the city of Corbin on foot and pay tribute to Corbin's most famous citizen, Colonel Harland Sanders!
The race will start and end on Depot Street in downtown Corbin. Route will encompass downtown, part of Master Street and 4th and 5th Streets. Race will feature Colonel Sanders look-a-like contest with $100 cash prize. There is a 3 and a half hour time limit on the half marathon **Please note that this time limit is a hard cut off- the course will be closed during the race, however after 3.5 hours we will open the course to resume traffic**
Pre-race packet pick up will be at the newly rennovated Harland Sanders Cafe and Museum located at 688 Hwy 25 West, Corbin, KY 40701 Friday November 12th from 4pm-8pm. Race day packet pick up will be at the starting line on Depot Street from 7am-8am. There will be no day of registration.
All participants will receive a special commemorative medal, swag and a 1/4 zip pullover. Please note that you must register by October 22, 2021 in order to be gauranteed a shirt.
Half Marathon goody bags will be stuffed with all kinds of cool swag and will contain a coupon for a free beer at one of our locally owned downtown restaurants. 10K participants will get lots of great goodies too!
