Event Description

Come celebrate the Fourth of July Holiday with some fitness...by running the patriotic, family friendly Freedom Fighter 5K and Lil' Firecracker Kids Dash! This year, to meet local requirements on sound and events at Bergfeld Park, we will be hosting the Freedom Fighter 5K on Saturday, July 3rd (rather than on July 4th).

The FREE Lil' Firecracker Kids Dash, sponsored by Pappy's Fireworks, includes a t-shirt, but kiddos must be signed up in order to get one!

We are proud to #runforfreedom in person this year and will be donating a portion of race proceeds to Boot Campaign!

All 5K runners will receive a commemorative race shirt and finisher medal, or you may choose to donate the cost of your shirt to Boot Campaign! All our kids dash participants will also receive a t-shirt, but in order to do so, they must be registered for the event. Register before midnight on June 23 to guarantee your shirt size. We are also be offering a virtual/sleep in option for those who want to support but aren't quite ready to gather in a group just yet.

Note: we will be following any state and local COVID-19 precautions in place at the time of the event as all permitting requires as such.

Parking- No parking will be allowed on College Ave. Please try to park along the park before residential areas.
