Event Information
We are excited to offer the 7th annual 2021 Promise Run as a virtual event. The Promise Run will take place from April 22-25. All funds raised go toward the Hollis Cancer Center.
The Course
Runners and walkers of all ages can participate any time from April 22-25. If you would like to complete the traditional Promise Run course, our 10k and 5k races start and finish in downtown Lakeland. The course will follow the historic streets of Lakeland as you navigate the scenic lakes.

If you are unable to run on the existing course or have a favorite spot of your own, you can run anywhere at any time between April 22-25.
Race Results
There are two ways to record your race:
- The RaceJoy app can track and record your time using GPS tracking. To use the app, simply download it and create a login. When you're ready to run, go into the app, find Promise Run, pick your distance and hit start to begin your 5k or 10k. Once you complete the distance, your results will be automatically uploaded.
You can choose to run the existing Promise Run 10k or 5k or you can run a 10k or 5k anywhere of your choosing. - If you choose not to use the RaceJoy app, you can run on the honor system and manually enter your 5k or 10k time here.
Registration Packets
Registrants' packets will be mailed out starting on April 5, 2021. IMPORTANT: Registrants' packets will be mailed to the address used for registration and will only be mailed out once.
What is Included:
- Race bib
- "Running In Honor of _______" bib to honor someone in the fight against cancer.
- High quality performance shirt. Shirts will be unisex sizes XSmall to XXXLarge. See FAQ for size chart.
