The Lake is Calling
The Lake Wilhelm Marathon & Half Marathon takes place along the stunning shores of one of Pennsylvania’s largest lakes! Known for its Bald Eagle viewing, expansive lake views, and scenic bike path, Maurice K. Goddard State Park is a must visit destination!

Window Start:
All marathon participants will have the option to start their race at any point from 7:00 am to 7:15 am and all half marathon participants will have from 7:30 am to 7:50 am in order to aid social distancing. The start will be chip timed so there is no penalty to starting later. All results will be based on net (chip) time.

Restrooms & Aid Stations:

Portable restrooms will be placed near the start/finish area and along the course.

Aid Stations with refreshments and first aid kits will be available along the course.
Race Parking will be available near the Start/Finish area at the Lake Wilhelm Marina.

Awards:
Awards will be given to the Top 3 Overall Male and Female Open & Masters Finishers as well as the top 3 male and female finishers in the following age groups: 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. There will be no in-person award ceremony due to Covid-19. All awards will be mailed. A virtual awards ceremony will be posted on YouTube in the week following the event.

Course:
One loop on the John C. Oliver path for the Half Marathon and two loops for the Marathon. Course Time Limit is 6 hours for the Marathon (13:44 min/mile) and 5.5 hours for the Half Marathon (25:11 min/mile). The marathon course will be USATF certified and therefore an eligible Boston Qualifying Course.
