Event Description

The 40th Annual Gaelic Gallop St. Patrick's Day Race is held in Dyersville, Iowa and presented by Total Fitness Family Rec Center on Saturday, March 13, 2021.  

Schedule:

•  9:30 am     Leprechaun Leap (ages 6 & under)

• 10:00 am     8K Road Race-Shotgun Start

• 10:05 am     2 Mile Fun Run/Walk

• 11:00 am     Refreshments/Medals Ceremony

The morning starts with the Leprechaun Leap (ages 6 & under).  A quick dash for the kids to open up the day of fun and excitement including participant goody bags!

The 2 Mile Fun Run/Walk is great for all ages!  Medals go to the first male and female finishers.

The 8K Road Race is a shotgun start with awards for the top 3 finishers in each age group, plus overall male and female winners.  Age Groups are 15 & under, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & over.

**Chip Timing ends at 10:50 am

Check In: 8:15-9:30 am in St. Francis Xavier school gym.  

Parking: Parking available at West Side Park

*Last day to register and have a t-shirt by race day is March 5th.

This year, we are partnering with Textile Brewery and hosting a beer tent after the race!

Make sure to head to downtown Dyersville for the St. Patrick's Day Parade at 1:30 pm and enjoy the rest of the day's activities!
