Event Description

Spring Training Team - 10 weeks to a 10k or Just Run with our team up to 5 or 6 miles weekly through April and May 2021
Please note: Registration for Race Team RVA training does not include entries into any races. You must register separately for your desired race.  This program includes Saturday Group Runs!
Saturday Group Runs (2 locations): Starts April 3

  • Woodlake Aquatics Fitness Center (AFC) (Southside), 14710 Village Square Place, Midlothian 
  • U-Turn Sports Performance Academy, 2101 Maywill St, Richmond, VA 23230 (near Willow Lawn Shopping Center area, off Staples Mill Road behind the BC/BS/Anthem building) 

Our Half & Full Marathon programs will start May 15 and there will be a separate registration for that program.

This program does not include a training team shirt.  That's how we are able to keep our costs low at $1 per week.

Program is designed to align to a 10k race on, or around, June 3.

What does Race Team RVA Running Club offer in this program?

  • Experienced, Certified, Race Team RVA Coaches
  • Organized group runs on Saturday with Water/SAG support as needed
  • Detailed training plans for a 10k race to be run on or around June 3
  • Potential weekday group runs (based on demand)
  • Team socials (when possible)
  • Prepares you to get in shape for our Half & Full marathon programs which start May 15.

Must be at least 16 years old to participate. (under 16 requires a parent or guardian permission)

Refund Policy – If you change your mind about participating in our programs, we are happy to honor your decision as long as the refund request is made before April 1, 2021.  To request a refund, please submit your request in writing to Dan Blankenship, runcoachdan@gmail.com. A check will be processed once the refund has been accepted and approved.
