90's Glow Run 5K

Location: 3701 South Atlantic Ave., New Smyrna Beach, FL


Dress up in your most iconic 90's outfit (Cheetah Print and Nirvana anyone?) and add some glow sticks for our 90's Glow Run 5K hosted by UPCELTO Event Promotions. This is a really awesome beach run along New Smyrna Beach, FL finishing at one of our sponsors Chase's on the Beach for an after party welcome to everyone! Join us at Chase's on the Beach after the race where there will be live music, drink specials, dinner, games, fire pits, a pool, and a great beachside view! Don't miss out on this totally rad event!

All participants will be chip timed and Overall winners and age group winner awards will be provided. All participants receive a 90's Glow Run 5K event t-shirt and cool water bottle!

We will employ strict health and safety considerations regarding staff and volunteers. 

Participants will be required to wear a mask at the start and finish line area. Mask do not need to be worn in the race. 
Start will be based on participant's pace 
Physical Distancing for restroom use and packet pick-up
Spectators will need to be spread out
Hand sanitizing stations will be provided in staging areas


5:00 PM – 5K Race Start 

6:00PM - Head to Cases On the Beach for Awards Ceremony and After Party. Awards will be given to Overall winner and each age group's clear top 3 winners.


October 15th - Location TBA

Shirts are guaranteed for all pre-registered participants before October 10th. Shirts are not guaranteed on race day.

Medals for top overall male and female, and top 3 male and female age groups will receive awards. Age groups include 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74-75-79, 80-84,85-89, 90+



27th Ave. Beach Front Park has Paid parking until 4:00 pm
Locals of New Smyrna can park for free at the 27th Ave. Beachfront Park anytime.  Others can park free at Chases On the Beach parking lot or for free after 4:00 pm at Beach Front Park. 

Race will be timed and scored with a disposable chip provided, which will be attached to the back of the bib.

Medals for top overall male and female, and top 3 male and female age groups will receive awards. Age groups include 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74-75-79, 80-84,85-89, 90+


How long is the course?
The 5K is 3.1 miles.

How will I be timed?
The race uses an electronic timing system that records race time and place via a transponder chip that will be given out at registration. Each individual competing in the 5K is required to use the race chip. Official times will not be recorded without a chip. There will be a clock at the finish line to view your time.

When and where do I pick up my packet?

October 16th at: TBA

How will I receive my results?
Official results are posted for the top runners in each category. Race staff has all results for on-site inquiries and results are posted on the Run Sign Up race website.

Can I use my own race chip or tag rather than utilizing the one that is provided?
No, you will be provided with a custom chip.

Who gets a T-shirt?
Only pre-registered runners that successfully complete the registration and payment processes by Oct 10th are guaranteed a free race t-shirt. Additional shirts are printed for the race but are first come first serve. Pre-registered runners by Oct. 10th are first to receive their shirt and preferred size. The remaining shirts for walk-up and voucher runners are available for free until they run out. Also, day-of participants may face limited sizes and availability.

What if I need help along the way?
Qualified emergency medical professionals are available to provide assistance at the start/finish lines.

Can I participate in the event with my dog?
No, sorry dogs are not allowed at this event location. 

Can I participate with a stroller?
Yes, nurturing future generations of runners is a priority and demonstrating healthy lifestyles to our kids is special. Please, however, start in the latter part of the runners. Also, be aware of the terrain of this event as it will be a BEACH Run so please plan accordingly. 

Should I bring my own water?
Yes, and there will be water stations on the course as well as at the finish.

Can I get my money returned?
We appreciate your race registration. We are unable to issue refunds. We are not in a position to credit your credit card or issue checks.

Will the race be held if it's raining?
The race is a "rain or shine" event. All participants are encouraged to dress appropriately for the weather, such as in a rain coat or hat. Umbrellas can pose a safety hazard to others, so please do not bring them.

What will be provided after the race?
A really awesome after-party with drink specials and live music at Chases on the Beach (located at race finish line)! Awards will be announced at Chases on the Beach at the end of the event. If needing to leave earlier and don't wish your award to be announced, arrangements can be made to provide you with your award prior to the ceremony. 

Can I transfer my entry to someone else?
We have a strict NO TRANSFER policy.
