Thank you for your interest in our very first Santa Shuffle and Holiday Craft Fair to benefit the children of Bridge Crossing! It’ll be a day full of holiday cheer and family fun complete with caroling, milk & cookies, and the one and only, Santa himself! Check out all the ways you can participate:
WHAT’S SCHEDULED?
8AM Children’s Fun Run – The day will start with some dashing through the snow lead by one of Santa’s favorite Elves!
8:45AM 5K Walk/Run – You'll run through the seven levels of the Candy Cane Forest, past the sea of twirly-swirly gum drops and back to Bridge Crossing where hot cocoa and festivities await!
10AM-2PM Bridge Crossing Academy Holiday Craft Fair -It’s time to get your holiday gift shopping on! You’ll not only be supporting Bridge Crossing but local artisans as well!
TEAMS
Company teams, family and friend groups alike are encouraged to create teams of your own! All you need is two or more people, a snappy name and some good ol' fashion holiday cheer!

It’s the MOST wonderful time of the year! So, find that Christmas spirit and join us Virtually Anywhere for the Santa Shuffle 5k and Kids Fun-Run! Log your time and share your pictures.

Run for the Children Scheduled for December 4th, 2021
Bridgton, Maine – NFI North's Bridge Crossing will host their first annual Run for the Children, a 5K to Benefit the Bridge Crossing Residential Children's programs and special education school, Bridge Crossing Academy on Saturday, December 4th 2021. This new event will take place at the brand new Bridge Crossing Academy on Nulty Street, Bridgton, Maine and will be the first event of Bridgton, Maine's Festival of Lights! Race Day Registration opens at 7:15 am; Kids Fun Run begins at 8:00 am; and the 5K Run/Walk starts at 8:45 am. There will be children’s activities, refreshments and will be attended by the one and only Santa Clause himself. Bridge Crossing Academy will also hold a Holiday Craft Fair; buy holiday gifts, specialty food products, jewelry and more!
Bridge Crossing is a safe and loving refuge for young children ages 5-14. Our guiding vision is a commitment to helping children return to their family or another home-like setting. We provide specialized treatment and education to assist them through their journey of healing and ultimately help them find their happily ever after.
Proceeds from the Run for the Children 5K ensure that children at Bridge Crossing receive the best possible care, including a more robust children’s activities program, increased education assistance, special services to families, and intensive therapies for children overcoming trauma. With over 24 years of caring for children, Bridge Crossing has a unique understanding of providing a safe, nurturing environment for children in crisis and the value of keeping families together following trauma.
Individual 5K Walk/Run registrations are $25 ($35 on Race Day); kids are free if pre-registered ($10 on Race Day).
