Event Description

The Vineland Youth Running Club (VYRC) is for children in the Greater Vineland area ages 6-14 interested in being coached in track/cross country. This is an affordable and accessible alternative to other participation sports and practices are held just 2-3 times a week. The Spring and Fall seasons both last 8 weeks and parents can opt to sign their child up for the entire year up front or sign up per season.

Fall: October 4 - November

Practices will be held on Monday and Wednesday evenings at the track at Romano Sports Complex. Registration is $65 and includes a shirt and free entry to 2 races on the Second Capital Running Fall Roster (tbd).

*Though children will not be required to wear masks, Social Distancing measures will be in place. Parents are welcome to volunteer and/or run with your child, but must stay masked in consideration of other club members. This club is sponsored by Second Capital Running and operated with help from the Run Vineland Crew, Vineland’s all ages running group.
