Event Description

The Catawba Valley Angel Rally is a 36-hour fundraising endurance event with various distances being completed by
runners over the course of 36 hours. Runners from F3 - Conover Station will begin running the one mile
loop course at 9:00pm on Friday night, May 21st. The run will conclude at 9:00am on Sunday morning,
May 23rd . F3 will have runners on the course for the entire 36 hours.

On Saturday, May 22nd at 9:00am there will be an official 5K and 10K race. The races will be gun timed
and will not have bibs or chip timing devices.

Packet pickup will be Friday May 21st from 6:00pm – 8:00pm, and Saturday from 7:00am-8:30am
Runners, walkers and spectators are invited to join us at any time during the event. Come and go as
often as you like and run or walk as far as you choose.

Runners that accept the 50K or 100K challenge are encouraged to seek financial sponsors to support you
by the mile or kilometer. There is no charge to register, but we ask that you fundraise a minimum of
$150 for the 50K and $300 for the 100K. There will be a special award for 50K and 100K finishers.
All runners or walkers who complete the 5K, 10K, 50K or 100K will receive a Catawba Valley Angel Rally
race shirt and custom finisher medal.

Please bring your family for the post-race celebration! For your dining pleasure, Frank’s Southern Bites
will be on hand with BBQ, wings, hamburgers, hotdogs, funnel cakes etc. We will also have a coffee
truck on hand for those who crave caffeine! Music and DJ service will be provided by L-Town
Entertainment. Please come and plan to support these local vendors, who are donating their time,
services and profits to Ainsley’s Angels!

On Sunday morning, we will conclude the event with a community unity service at the amphitheater in
the park. We encourage everyone that can to come back to the park on Sunday the 23rd at 10:00am to
hear a positive message and to celebrate the conclusion of the Catawba Valley Angel Rally.
