RUN FOR RIDERS VIRTUAL 5K
Kansas State University's Sigma Alpha sorority presents Run For Riders! This virtual 5K experience will benefit Little Apple Riders of Manhattan to help them fund upgrades to their facilities that housed more than 20 horses who specialize in English and Western Riding. Little Apple Riding has been fundraising tirelessly to build an indoor arena and we at Sigma Alpha are so excited to partner with Little Apple Riding to make their indoor arena happen!
AGE GROUPS (Age as of May 1, 2021)
- 12 and Under
- 13-39
- 40-59
- 60+
GIVEAWAYS:
Each registrant who registers BEFORE April 11th will receive a custom Run For Riders T-shirt and Water Bottle! (Registrants who register after April 11th are guaranteed a water bottle and may receive a t-shirt if there are enough orders to place a second group order. Those who register after April 11th will receive their water bottles 2-3 weeks after May 2nd). THERE WILL BE NO PICK UP OPTION FOR REGISTRANTS WHO REGISTER AFTER APRIL 11th!
The top three runners in each age group will receive custom Run For Riders Medals!!
HOW DO YOU ENTER YOUR RACE RESULTS??
Download a run tracking app, our personal favorite... Nike Running Club, but you can use any app you're comfortable with! Set your distance to 5K, start the timer, and RUN! When you complete your run, post your time on the Run For Riders Facebook Page, or right here on the Race Page. If you don't feel comfortable posting publicly, send us an email at ksusigmaalphaphilanthropychair@gmail.com. After the May 2nd deadline, we will sort through the results and find our top three!
WHERE SHOULD YOU PICK UP YOUR RACEDAY BAG?
When you get to the t-shirt page you have the option to ship your t-shirt and water bottle to your home at cost, or to ship to us for free. If you choose to ship to us, you will have the chance to pick up your goodie bag at a location TBD April 30th from 11am-1pm in Manhattan, KS. Check back here and on our Facebook page for updates about where to pick up your goodie bag!
