Event Description

Join United Way for the 7th annual St Paddy’s Day 5K Run/Walk in downtown Ocala to benefit the United Way of Marion County’s work in health and wellness.

Hosted by Youth United Way, the organization’s high school program for juniors and seniors who are looking for ways to expand their leadership qualities while contributing to their community through volunteering, fundraising and advocating for issues important to the United Way.

The St Paddy’s Day 5K Run/Walk will begin at 8:00 am at Ocala's Citizen Circle and goes through part of Ocala’s historic district south of Fort King Street. 

BIG HAMMOCK RACE SERIES

We are excited to be a part of the 7th Race in Big Hammock Race Series and is the second race in the LUCKY CHARM CHALLENGE! Those BHRS participants who run the Blueberry Horseshoe 5K in February will receive their LUCKY CHARM CHALLENGE medal after they complete the St. Paddy’s Day 5K.

"Luck of the Irish” Costume contest: Come in your green and show your Irish spirit.  Best costume wins a prize.

"Lucky Pot of Gold" Medal for the first 500 participants who cross the finish line! Head towards the rainbow and follow the leprechauns to the Pot of Gold medal!
