Event Description

The Skadden Running Club invites you to join our first-ever Skadden 2 Skadden Virtual Relay Run!

We are planning a virtual “coast to coast” run that will cover 5,446-miles, calculated as a route from our Boston to Los Angeles offices, touching all of our U.S. offices along the way.  Skadden runners, hikers and walkers of all fitness levels, and located anywhere, are welcome to join!

Here’s how it will work:

The total route will be broken up into 7 virtual segments over the course of approximately 19 weeks.  Participants will be organized into large teams, which are intended for organizational and social purposes, not competitive ones.  This event is not a race – the goal is to join Skadden colleagues in a fun challenge that leaves all with a memorable accomplishment (and maybe some new friends)!

Each segment will be assigned a total mileage and elevation gain (reflecting the miles/elevation change between the 2 Skadden offices) and a deadline by which the teams need to aggregate those totals.  Teams will determine how to divide the mileage among the group as it suits individuals’ interests and abilities.
