Event Description

A Healthier You 5K Walk/Run is an opportunity to bring together the community for a fun-filled event that supports good physical & mental health and good times. We wanted to bring the annual event back and due to the pandemic, it will be hosted virtually! A portion of event proceeds will support Tuskegee Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc.'s (TAC) Physical and Mental Health programs as well as the American Diabetes Association (ADA - https://www.diabetes.org) and the South East Alabama Sickle Cell Association (SEASCA - https://www.seasca.com).

A Virtual 5K Run/Walk means that you can run, jog or walk wherever you choose to...your neighborhood, a park, a track or on a treadmill.  Encourage and gather your family, friends, coworkers, hairstylists, barbers, etc.  Form a team or walk individually and create your own camaraderie and/or friendly competition.  To create a sense of community, upload pics to the Race page and to social media...tag #tacdst #tacdst5K #tachealthieryou5k.

Registration:

$25 - (Last Registration Day to guarantee that you will receive a T-Shirt is 4/10/2021)

Other Activities in lieu of Running/Jogging/Walking for participants seeking alternatives:

Ride your (stationary) bike or rowing machine or choose various physical activities.
