2022 is the 2nd Annual INSAR 5K walk/run, to be held virtually. Join us wherever you are in the world to walk or run your 5K before or during the INSAR 2022 Hybrid Annual Meeting.
INSAR, the International Society for Autism Research, is a scientific and professional organization devoted to advancing knowledge about autism. INSAR was formed in 2001 and is governed by an elected, volunteer Board of Directors who oversee all functions of the Society. Various committees assist the Board in carrying out the mission of the Society. The INSAR Annual Meeting (formerly IMFAR) is the Society's scientific meeting, convened each May, to exchange and disseminate new scientific progress among autism research scientists and their trainees from around the world.

The proceeds from this virtual 5k walk/run are in support of VELA. VELA is a Non-Profit 501(c)3 organization empowering underserved Spanish and English speaking families of children with disabilities to become their child’s greatest advocate. Through culturally responsive courses and wraparound services, families gain knowledge, empowerment, resilience and community to ensure that their children thrive.
