Event Description
To Write Love on Her Arms is a non-profit movement dedicated to presenting hope and finding help for people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide. TWLOHA exists to encourage, inform, inspire, and also to invest directly into treatment and recovery.
We’d like to invite you to join us for the 6th Annual Run For It 5k. The Run For It 5k is an opportunity to move for something that matters—whether that’s for health, recovery, or in memory of a loved one. We hope it will also be a chance to connect with your local community, share the message of hope and help in a new way. In addition to the physical race, thousands of people across the country will be running as virtual runners as well!
A Backwater pancake breakfast will be included in the registration price, and will be available after the race to those who RSVP! If you have family or friends cheering you on, make sure you purchase extra meal tickets for $5.00 with your registration.
Once you've completed the online registration, you will also have a chance to set-up your own personalized fundraising page! We've set a goal to raise $25,000 at the local event, which is crucial to us hitting our goal to raise $60,000. The funds raised will be invested directly into fulfilling TWLOHA’s mission of sharing hope and help with people struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury, and suicide.
