Event Description
Nadia P Joseph Foundation will be hosting a 3K/5K walk at the Hampton Pines Park to bring awareness to mental health and raise funds for our programs.
In Recognition of mental health awareness month, we asked the Broward/Dade county community to join us in raising awareness of mental health and suicide prevention. One in four people will deal with a mental health issue in their lifetime and that one person’s life impacts so many more- families, friends, coworkers, and neighbors to name just a few. We are committed to helping everyone recognize that taking care of one’s mental wellness is as important and necessary as taking care of one’s physical wellness.
The kickoff ceremony will begin at 8:30 am at the Hampton pines park.
Parking is available at the park.
We are inviting everyone in the Broward/Dade County community to join us at the you are not alone community walk to help reduce the stigma of mental health.
The walkers will receive a free you are not alone T-shirt and the walk will also includes free water, snacks, resources from your local healthcare organization and speakers from the community.

In the event of unforseen circumstances, the physical race may be canceled at the discretion of NPJF. In this event, all registrations will automatically be converted to virtual registrations.
Registration fees are non-refundable.
