Event Description

Join us for our 1st ever virtual Walk-a-thon and Race. Our "Walk in the Name of Love" event will allow us to raise funds for Serving with GRACE. Your participation and donation will help us in our efforts to continue giving back to support our free community clothing and household store, as well as raise money for our scholarship program and back-to-school efforts. 

You can walk in the name of love for whatever or whomever you choose. Commit to spread love in your community and in our nation and to stomp out hate. Whatever you choose, let's do it in the name of love. 

About Us

Serving with GRACE is a nonprofit that provides goods and services to underprivileged children and families. Some of what we do include the following:

• A donation store called "Grace's Closet" that offers FREE clothing, shoes, undergarments, household items and supplies to children and families in need

• Annual college scholarship program

• Back to school giveaway - Distribution of school supplies, backpacks and school uniforms

• Holiday toy giveaway

• Food distributions

Your Donation

• Your donation of $30 will help us in our efforts to continue to provide scholarships to deserving students as well as support us to ensure we can continue to operate our free community clothing and household goods store. 

• You are not limited at just donating $30. If you feel the desire and are able to donate more, we welcome any amount you can give. 

Just Want to Donate and Not Walk?

We'll take your donation! You can also just donate to our cause if you don't want to participate in the walkathon. Do that by simply clicking the "Donate" button on our page. We appreciate your support. 

Giveaways

• Each registered participant will receive a free T-shirt. 

• As long as we have your address, we'll ship your T-shirt out to you.
  
  

Race Details

• Participate and join us as we walk in grace and show love to others. Let's come together virtually by running, walking or even riding your bike. This event will be completely virtual.

• Choose your own location. You can walk in your neighborhood or at a local park. Grab some friends or family members and do it together to make it more fun and engaging. 

• You can walk or run and choose your distance....anywhere from 1 mile to 3 miles or more, if you'd like!

• You can choose to walk any day and any time of the day starting May 1st - May 15th. 
  
  

Share your race details and photos with us!

• Once you are done with your race, let us know on social media or upload your results directly on our event page. 

• Remember to take pictures to show us how you're walking in love and hash tag #WalkInTheNameofLove

• Share your pictures on this event website and we'll share your pictures on our social media outlets.
