Event Description

The We Do Care Memorial Walk offers friends and family a chance to come together and pay special tribute to those no longer with us.  Walkers are encouraged to gather online pledges in memory of their loved ones through our online walk site. The proceeds are raised to ensure that we will be able to continue and grow our support services and grief programming for widows and their children of Southeastern Massachusetts.  This is just one of many ways to support our organization.

The Memorial Walk will take place at Borderland State Park in Easton, MA.  Walkers will be given the option to walk between .75 and 2.1 miles on a socially distant walk route.  The walk will start promptly at 10 a.m. and will be followed by a memorial celebration in the park.  All walkers must wear masks to follow covid protocols.  

This year's fundraising goal is $10,000, the proceeds will enable our organization to grow and increase our support and grief programming.  

$20 Registration Fee Per Walker (will count towards your fundraising goal)s.  
Walkers have the option to fundraise through our online platform.  Teams are welcomed and encouraged and can also utilize our platform to reach fundraising goals.  To register as an Individual or Team Fundraiser, Click on "Donate".   

Children 10 and under are free.

All walkers will receive a Memorial Walk t-shirt and a gift bag if registered by 05/25/21.    

Walkers may register up to 06/11/21 but are not guaranteed a tee shirt or gift bag. 

Every individual walker who raises $500 or more will receive a special Memorial ribbon.
