Event Description

This Race is a Fundraiser for Local Youth Sports Programs.  Last year, thanks to your generous support, NW OK Triathlons donated $13,000 to 4 local Running Teams and Swim Teams!!  We plan to add more teams this year!

The Enid Tri is a fast and flat Super Sprint Triathlon for ages 6 to 65+!  Some exceptions for younger kids who can swim.  The Race is located at Champlin Pool 400 W. Cherokee Ave, Enid, OK 73701, in downtown Enid, OK near the Denny Price YMCA.  The Swim is in an outdoor 50-Meter pool with Wave starts based off Age Groups.  

The Youth Bike Course distance varies with Age Groups and is an out-and-back, blocked from traffic with Police Support.  The Youth Run Course distance varies with Age Groups and is an Out-and-Back course.  Each Youth Age Group is assigned a color and will look for those Color Turnarounds.  

The Adult Bike Course is a 2-LOOP, 10-mile course that is also blocked from traffic with Police Support.  The Adult Run Course is also Out-and-Back - a 2-mile flat, fast course with a fast downhill finish. 

Relay Teams are available for Adults!  Some exceptions for 16 & 17 y/o Youth. 

 ADULTS:    400 Meter Swim     10 Mile Bike         2 Mile Run

6-8 y/o:          50 Meter Swim       1 Mile Bike      0.5 Mile Run
9-10 y/o:      100 Meter Swim       2 Mile Bike       1 Mile Run
11-12 y/o:    200 Meter Swim       3 Mile Bike      1.5 Mile Run
13-17 y/o:    300 Meter Swim       4 Mile Bike       2 Mile Run

Trophies will be given for 1st Overall Male/ Female Adult

Trophies for 1st Place and Medals for 2nd & 3rd place Male/ Female in the following Age Groups:

6-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+
 

Race Series Certificates will be given to participants who complete both our:

• Enid Stampede Youth and Adult Triathlon, Saturday June 18th, 2022 and

• Fairview Youth and Adult Triathlon, Saturday, July 16th, 2022!!!

   

PRIZE for the Organization or Team with the MOST ATHLETES!
PRIZE for the Organization or Team with the 4 FASTEST ATHLETES!
         Each Athlete must complete all 3 disciplines - SWIM, BIKE, RUN
 

RELAY OPTION!!    Build the Fastest Relay Team you can for a Relay Prize!!!

             Form a RELAY TEAM!  (2 or 3 people divide the parts.  ADULTS only)

             If Swimming is keeping you from racing a Triathlon --- we'll find you a Relay Swimmer!

2 Costs:      Race Registration Fee --- and --- USA Triathlon Membership Fee

USA Triathlon Membership is required for Our Races.  It's EMBEDDED in our Registration process

Each Adult MUST purchase a 1-Day or 1-Year Pass from USAT  (even Relay members)

All Youth must purchase a $10, 1-Year USAT Membership - also embedded in Our Registration
 

$10       for Youth for a 1-Year Pass          (the only option for Youth)
$15       for Adults for a 1-Day Pass or...
$50       for Adults for a 1-Year Pass         (a great option if you will race 4 races in 1 year)

Important Statement for Calculating AGE GROUPS!!!

• Basically, YOUR RACE AGE IS THE AGE THAT YOU WILL BE ON DECEMBER 31st!!

• Race age is your AGE AS OF December 31st.  Therefore, if your child is 8 y/o now, but will be 9 y/o on or before 12-31-2022, then they need to compete in the 9-10 y/o Age Group. 

• For Age Group Awards, your Age will be converted to your Age as of December 31st.  Therefore, if you are 44 y/o now, but will be 45 y/o on or before 12-31-2022, then your results will be recorded into the 45-49 y/o Age Group.
