Event Description
Sweetheart City Racing will be hosting the Summer Mile Series presented by Scheels.
Join us this summer with checkpoints along the way to test your mile speed. Whether you are brand new to running or a competitive athlete, this will be a strong part of your training plan. If you are following the SCR Beginning 5k, leading up to the Liberty 5K and Valley 5000, this is part of your training plan.
Coach Matt Beidron has designed the SCR Beginning 5K Training Plan that will launch in conjunction with the first Time Trial on May 4th. The first Time Trial will provide your baseline for the rest of your plan.
We will be chip timing and keeping score for the season!
Join the community in FOUR tests this summer. All four events start at 6:30 pm
- May 4 - Loveland HS Track
- June 1 - River’s Edge Natural Area
- June 29 - River’s Edge Natural Area
- August 2 - Loveland HS Track
Register for the entire series and get a shirt when you complete the final mile in August.
