Event Description

This is a multi-distance event that will take place on Sunday, April 10, 2022.

Starting at the Hawthorne end of the Gainesville-Hawthorne Trail, the course is well-shaded and flat. Destination Trainer has made the route more runner friendly for those who want to enjoy a race or meet with their running or walking partners. Ample parking will be provided by Hathorne Middle/High School which is 1/4 miles away from the Start/Finish area. The 5K and the 10K will be a simple out-and-back route while the half marathon will consist of two 6.55-mile circuits. At the end everyone will receive a bun-shaped finishers' medal and a fresh, individually-packaged. iced cinnamon bun provided by Panera's

Shirts will be stylish racer-back tops for women and tank tops for men. SHIRTS FOR THIS RACE WILL NOT BE GUARANTEED TO THOSE WHO SIGN UP AFTER MARCH 25TH!   We will substitute CUPCAKE RACE shirts for those who register after 3/25/2022.                                                                                                  

Trophies for the overall male and female finishers. Age group awards going three deep for 10-year increments (ex. 20-29) for all three events, male & female. ALL AWARDS WILL BE ON SITE. NO MAILING.  

Half Marathon begins @ 7:30 AM. 10K begins @ 7:45 AM. 5K begins @ 8:00 AMF
