Event Description

OK Runner & Two Six Two Okie presents the inaugural Draper Immortal.

Welcome to the first multi-distanced, paved ultra-adventure, in Oklahoma City!

The Draper Immortal is a running race located on the Maps 3 paved trail system around Lake Stanley Draper.  The course has moderate hills and consists of four distances: 5K, 10K, 25K, and 50K.  The timed courses will have staggered starting times to ensure social distancing and spacing of runners.  Participants will receive a Draper Immortal quarter zip, complimentary digital photos, and ultra cool swag.  Finisher's will receive a most unique, distance-specific finisher's medal.  There is a 9 hour time limit for the 50K. We will have an area at the start/finish for 50k drop bags.

Course

All races start/finish at the Lake Draper Marina.  Both The 5K & 10K are out and back routes.

The 25K is a clockwise loop around the lake, with an out/back section at Point 10. The 50k will complete the same loop as the 25k, cross the start/finish timing mat, and return to the course for the second loop.  The 50k drop bag area will be at this location, as well as a dedicated aid station for the 50k.

Aid Stations

Many of our aid station volunteers are runners, who are well versed in distances from 5k to ultra-marathons.  They understand the importance of each athlete having enough hydration, nutrition, and support, to complete the race.  There are four fully stocked aid stations on the course (not including the start/finish).  Aid stations are approximately 3 miles apart, and provide both water, and electrolyte jugs.  We will also have bottled water, various gels, packaged snacks, hand sanitizer, and trashcans.  Some of our aid station volunteers are quite clever, and may surprise you with some creative beverages and food.  Even though we are providing bottled water, we encourage 25k/50k participants to bring hydration devices, and/or race vests.

50k - Each athlete will pass 8 aid stations + the drop/bag area aid station, just inside the start/finish.

25k - Each athlete will pass 4 aid stations.

10k - Each athlete will pass one aid station twice.

5k - There will be an aid station at the finish.

Each Race will have a cap on available entries.

COMPLIMENTARY DIGITAL PHOTOS

What better way to capture a moment, than with a photograph?  KMCK PICS will pay our athletes a visit on the course.  Online registration means COMPLIMENTARY digital photos, made available in the days following the race.
