Calling all Woodbridge runners! A Woodbridge tradition of waking up on the morning of the 4th of July and participating in the Ralph J. Redington 5K, 10K, and 1 Mile Kid’s run continues. Compete with your neighbors and friends in this year’s virtual version of the annual 4th of July race! This virtual version is a COVID edition run with a 5K, 10K challenge and a 1-mile event for the kids. Woodbridge encourages all residents to enjoy this opportunity to celebrate our national holiday and have fun running this event! All that we ask is that you stick to sidewalks or trails and follow all pedestrian and traffic laws on your run. You may choose any route for your run that you prefer. You can also find the traditional routes for each race by clicking on the following links: 5k Course Map, 10K Course Map, and 1-Mile Kid's Run Course Map. The race can be completed anytime on Saturday, July 3rd or Sunday, July 4th to give everyone time to complete the race over the holiday weekend.
To participate in the run, each runner must sign-up online only by the deadline of 5:00 p.m. on July 4th. The 5K and 10K race costs $5 per runner, and the Kid's 1-Mile run costs $3 per runner. Please note this run event is non-refundable. All runners must upload their results by 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 5th. Race results will be posted on the Woodbridge Village Association Home page at www.wva.org on Wednesday, July 7th. Good luck to all our runners and thank you for helping us make this year’s Ralph J. Redington 5K, 10K, and Kid’s 1-Mile Run a race to remember!
