Register Early, Pick A Challenge, And Be Ready To Race November 1!

Take advantage of early registration May 1 - June 30, and when November rolls around, you will have the whole month to complete whatever challenge you choose. Will you play it safe and choose one lap (41.4 miles)? Or maybe you’re up for something bigger – five laps or ten?! Choose to walk/hike, run, or cycle your way to the finish line. Want to race with your friends and make a bigger impact? Create or join a team and work together to reach even higher.

You’ve Got This!

Join the one-lap challenge and just complete 10.35 miles per week (1.5 miles per day)! Or challenge yourself to something more - just be sure to pace yourself. All of your progress is easily entered and updated with our tracking tools.

Participating Is Simple

  1. Walk/hike, run, or cycle/spin whenever you want, wherever you like. It’s a virtual race, so it’s up to you.
  2. Log into our website to enter your miles and time. Track your progress on our race page and connect on our Facebook group!

Your Help Makes A Big Impact!

The mission of Sequoia Parks Conservancy is to fund and enable projects and programs that protect, preserve, and provide access to the natural and cultural resources of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. Last year, our wild runners raised over $30,000. This year we are out to raise $50,000, so spread the word and let’s Run Wild!

Who Is Sequoia Parks Conservancy?

Founded in 1940, the mission of Sequoia Parks Conservancy is to protect, preserve, and provide access to the natural and cultural resources of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National parks. The Conservancy delivers enriching and fulfilling visitor experiences, establishes a continuous and growing funding stream, provides enhanced educational experiences, and engages public lands advocates. Since its inception, the Conservancy has provided millions in in-kind and cash aid to both parks.

What We Do

Sequoia Parks Conservancy is the official nonprofit partner of Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks which sees more than two million visitors per year. SPC’s efforts have been critical in the conservation of  wild, beautiful landscapes for the enjoyment and inspiration of generations of visitors. Priority projects for SPC include raising funds for sequoia conservation, education and outreach, trails and accessibility, wildlife management, resource management and science and search and rescue.

How We Accomplish Our Goals

SPC works hand-in-hand with the National Park Service to establish priority fundraising objectives. We also operate the visitor center stores throughout Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks. We proudly operate Crystal Cave which hosts over 60,000 visitors each summer, offer interpretive programs through SPC Adventures and host park-wide events like the Dark Sky Festival.
