Event Description

Covid -19 and a long winter has been hard on all of us.  But it's Spring and time to get outside and back to being active... but not get too crazy and try to run a marathon, or even a 5K yet!!!  Ease into summer with a fun and friendly, yet challenging event.

The Beer Mile is an event consisting of drinking a beer, running a 1/4 mile, and repeating that process 3 more times for a total of 4 beers and 1 mile of running.

You must be 21 to participate.  You must bring ID to the event.

There will be three options to participate:

Single - 1 person drinks all the beer and runs all the laps

Double -  Find yourself a drinking buddy (and running buddy) 2 people split the running and beer drinking.  Each person must drink 2 beers and run 2 laps (1/2 mile total)

Quad -  Hmm I think this could be a good team building exercise for your company, or softball team, or just you and three friends.  4 person team spilt the running and beer drinking . Each person much drink 1 beer and run 1/4 mile

Suggested Training Plan :  Get off the sofa, grab a beer, take the long way back to the sofa.  Increase distance to fridge by one room every three days.  Trying walking through the dining room, laundry room, office.  As you advance try going outside, walk around your entire property....

Donations :  All profits after a 20% processing club fee will be donated to Brown County Humane Society

Sponsor:   O'Dells Brewery has generously donated the beer for the event
