Event Description

Since 1998 our 1/2 Marathon tropheys have been dedicated to Ernie Klann. In 1988 Ernie started the first Hernia Hill 1/2 Marathon. We are proud to have been associated and proud to continue "his" race. 

Course ~
All distances are beautifully scenic with hills and finish with a 'dash' through the 'Wine Cave'.
5K Run has one fun hill prior to finish line.
10k Run includes a dash up the finishing hill twice , so you get the punishment twice ....
1/2 Marathon utilizes Red Hill Road. with a long and very pretty run thru the California Hills'...beautiful and golden at this time of year. 

Post Race Festivities ~
Lunch sponsored and hosted by On Your Mark. Included in entry fee. Available to non-runner adults for $10.00, children $7.00
Wine tasting, raffle (must be present to win) and award ceremony

Awards ~
Ceremony at 10:00 a.m.
1/2 Marathon - Trophies to overall winners. Medals to the top 3 finishers in each age group incuding Clydesdale division (men over 185 lbs., women over 150 lbs.)
5K & 10K Run - Medals to the top 3 winners in all age groups.
