Event Description

This year is our 7th Annual and final Tour de Seven, Fall Into Fitness 5k Run/Walk and it will be in Rosiclare, IL in Hardin County.  After this year's event we will have held a 5k in all seven counties of our jurisdiction.  The 5k will be more challenging this year as the route will go through the town of Rosiclare, which is a very hilly town on the banks of the Ohio River. The course is mostly blacktop with varying inclines/declines throughout the course.  The route starts at the Rosiclare Post Office and traverses through Rosiclare and ends back at the Post Office.  This route is stroller and wheelchair friendly.   Pets on a leash are welcome.  First Aid/Hydration Stations will be available.  The one mile "Fluorspar Mineral Mile" Walk/Run will start at 8:30AM.  It is a free event but we ask that participants donate 1 non-perishable food item, and a t-shirt can be ordered for $10.  You're welcome to stay in Rosiclare to enjoy the 58th Annual Fluorspar Festival on Main Street after the 5k. There will be food vendors, live music, a parade, a car show and a rodeo.  There is sure to be something everyone in the family will enjoy!  A portion of the 5k's profit will be donated to the Hardin County Food Pantry through Shawnee Development.
