Race Information

The Forge Fall 4-Miler will be run on the gravel / crushed limestone and possibly some single track MTB trails throughout the Forge: Lemont Quarries and adjoining Heritage Quarries Recreation Area and I&M Canal trails.  

The 4 mile course will traverse the various gravel / crushed limestone trails and MTB single track.  Athletes will experience a unique trail race with a cool course, awesome scenery and a great venue at The Forge: Lemont Quarries.       

Its a Fall race, so make it fun.  Wear flannel, jeans, the great pumpkin suit - whatever you like (maybe we will even have a run in costume contest!).

Course Information

The Forge Fall 4-Miler course is being developed.  The course will traverse the wide gravel trails and may take a trip through single track MTB trails throughout the Forge and adjoining trails systems.  

The course will be be a single lap or an out and back with a common start / finish line on the lawn in the Mount area of the Forge.  Total mileage will be 4 Miles +/- a little, but its trail and we don't want to do anything funky to make it perfect distance :-)!.

Registration & Entry Fees

Tier 1 (First 50 Registered) = $35
Tier 2 (51 – 100) = $40
Tier 3 (101 – 400) = $45

Race Cap is 400

*Includes entry to the race, electronically timed results, earned overall and age group awards, a cool Forge long sleeve cotton shirt (for registrations by October 17), swag and post-race party with food, beer, and other beverages.

Awards
Awards will be the following:

1st – 3rd Overall Male and Female

1st Overall Male and Female Masters (Age 40+)

1st Overall Male and Female Lemont Resident

Mr. and Ms. Mid Pack (Athlete that finishes in the exact middle of the pack in their gender by placement)

1st – 3rd 10-Year Male & Female Age Groups from < 20 – Age 70+ (Example, Male 30-39, Female 40-49, Female <20)

Additional awards, prizes and raffles will be offered and announced before the race.
