Event Description

The "IRISH" I Was Faster is a 4K Run/Walk that supports the Imlay City Athletic Boosters.  The Athletic Boosters works to support the athletes of the Imlay City Schools.  Funds from this race will primarily be used to provide the HUDL system to the coaches and athletes so that they have the tools needed to be successful to excel in the sport they are participating in.  HUDL provides video review and performance analysis tools for sports teams and athletes at every level. Funds may also be used to provide other team needs such as gear, uniforms, equipment etc.

This race will take you around the Imlay City Schools from the high school where the athletes spend their school day as well as the Middle School, Weston St. Elementary and Borland Elementary.  The route will also take you through the baseball grounds, track and football field.  As a participant you will have the opportunity to see the grounds and buildings that you are providing support for.  

As runners and walkers, we know that sports keeps us healthy and teaches us many life lessons.  Come on out and join in supporting our young people stay healthy and learn important life lessons.
