Description
Grab your pooch (or leave them at home if they don't like to run), and join us at Gerald Matthews Complex Loop in Hampton for a dog friendly 5K. We'll have loads of great swag (race shirts for humans & bandanas for dogs), as well custom awards for the Overall winners, Overall Master's winners, and the Top three in all the usual 5 year age groups.

Jazzy Paw's mission is to make a substantial decrease in the number of healthy, adoptable animals that are euthanized in shelters within our community through education, spay/neuter, promoting rescue/adoption, as well as provide low-cost basic wellness services to pet owners in local and surrounding communities.
The event will be electronically timed and we'll have awards as follows:
- Top 3 Overall M/F
- Top 3 Overall Masters M/F (40 years +)
- Overall Grand Master M/F (50 years +)
- Overall Senior Master M/F (60 years +)
- All the normal 5yr Age Groups starting at 10 & under through 75+.

Then the virtual race is for you.
Here's how it works:
1. Register for the Virtual division
2. Start Training
3. The day before the race you'll receive instructions & a link to submit your race time
4. Submit your race time by end of day Sunday
5 The Monday after the race, results (Virtual Runner division) will be posted online
6. Monday after the race you'll receive an email with a link to the results & any pictures.
7. Monday after the race we'll package up all the T-shirts & medals and put them in the mail.

Last Day to guarantee a shirt in your size:
- February 16th.
Saturday March 7th:
- 7:00 am: Check In/Registration Opens
- 8:00 am: Races start
All participants will be eligible for free entry into the 2023 Five Star Turkey Trot, see website for details.
Top finishers will earn a spot in the Five Star 5K Championships to be held on January 7, 2024.
Our events are designed to be fun for the entire family. With that in mind; any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike
conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.
All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.
Event will take place rain or shine. In the event of extreme weather, we will cancel for the safety of the participants...there are no refunds in this case.
Participants that do not show up to race/event forfeit their right to any swag.
No COVID-19 Refunds. If unforeseen circumstances arise due to COVID-19, including any Federal or State Health Emergency, refunds will not be provided. The event will go 100% Virtual & shirts will be shipped to participants.
