We invite you to join us in supporting our mission to end veteran homelessness in the United States! For 30 years, U.S.VETS has assisted veterans experiencing homelessness across the nation and today houses over 5,500 veterans a night across 40 residential sites and service centers.
Since opening in 2001, U.S.VETS – Phoenix has proudly served more than 10,000 veterans throughout Maricopa County and the state of Arizona, providing housing, workforce development, and case management services to help veterans live with dignity and independence.

Virtual Run Details
U.S.VETS invites everyone, everywhere to participate in the Steps for Vets 5K Run, Walk, Roll. If you are unable to join us in-person on April 29th, you can still be a part of the fun and register as a virtual participant!
Take steps for vets in your neighborhood, on a treadmill, or with a group of friends, family, and colleagues at a local park. No matter where you are, you can help raise funds and awareness for U.S.VETS mission to end veteran homelessness in the United States. Participants that register to participate virtually will receive a t-shirt and medal in the mail at no extra shipping charge. Please note that all items will ship following the event on April 29th.
Virtual Registrations are restricted to US addresses only. If you reside outside of the US and wish to participate, please contact StartLine Racing at email@example.com
What You Get!
In addition to knowing your registration fee and donations are helping to keep veterans off the streets, U.S.VETS – Phoenix also provides some great swag to every registrant.
Below is what all registered participants will receive:
- Custom event medal
- Custom Dri-Fit Tech event t-shirt
- Pre & Post event "Participants Brunch" (granola bars, fruit, water, Gatorade, etc.)
- Chip timed with real time results and photos on the StartLine Racing website or mobile app (on Apple and Google)
This year, awards will be handed out for participants according to the top three in each of the following categories:
- Top 3 Best Completion Times (10K and 5K only)
- Top 3 Individual Fundraisers – individual participants that have raised the most funds
- Top 3 Fundraising Teams – teams that have raised the most funds
- Top 3 Team Captains – captains that have recruited the most participants
Event managed by StartLine Racing in support of U.S.VETS and U.S.VETS – Phoenix. Club SLR discounts do not apply.
Please note: Event Day t-shirts, medals, and other items will only be mailed to participants registered for the virtual event. All other participants must pick their items up in-person during registration on event day or during pre-event Packet Pick-up (see below for details)
Run, Walk, Roll Day
On the day of the event, registration and packet pick-up will be available beginning at 6:00am.
We accept cash, check, and credit cards on the day of the event.
- Registration fees on event day will be $50 for the 10K/5K and $30 for the 1-mile.
Stroller, wheelchair, and leashed pet friendly event! Please no wagons, scooters, skateboards, etc. on the course. This event will take place rain or shine. There are no refunds due to weather.
