Arizona's Original Thanksgiving Day Community Race Event!
The Mesa Turkey Trot is the original Turkey Trot Run event in Arizona and focuses on a family atmosphere! The 10K and 5K are professionally timed. A One Mile Fun Run is also offered as a warm-up and a chance for families to run together before the main events. The 10K and 5K are run on the roads around Red Mountain Park in East Mesa, AZ, finishing in the parking lot.

Become a Mesa Turkey Trot Volunteer
The Sertoma Club is seeking volunteers to help with the 2023 Mesa Turkey Trot. Volunteers are needed in a variety of areas, which include manning water stations and distributing medals.
This is a great way to get involved with the community and cheer on runners from all over. Other benefits of volunteering include meeting new people, receiving volunteer credit hours, and being compensated with a commemorative shirt.
Volunteer opportunities are open for groups or individuals. All ages welcome (children under 16 must volunteer with a parent). Shifts start as early as 6:30am on race day.

Virtual Run Details
Of course we want you to participate in the Mesa Turkey Trot event locally but we know things come up. So, if you can't join us on race day and still want to run, get the medal and the shirt then you still can! Here is your way to take part in this event no matter where you are! And of course, all prices include shipping! Prior to the event all virtual participants will receive an email with instructions on how to submit your time.
Please note that all items will be shipped following the event on November 23rd.

- 8 & Under, 9 & 10, 11-13, 14-17, 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 & Over
Pre- and Post-Race "Runner's Brunch" (granola bars, fruit, water, Gatorade, etc)
Chip Timed with Real Time Results and Photos on our Website or Mobile App (on Apple and Google)

Race Day Information
Race Day Check In starts at 6:30am.
We accept cash, check, and credit cards on race day.
Prices on race day and packet pickup will be:
- 10K/5K - $40
- 1 Mile - $20
Stroller and wheelchair friendly event. MUST start at the back of the pack.
Leashed pet friendly event
Due to the proximity of the start/finish line, there is no bag check for this event.
The course will take you around Red Mountain Park on paved roads finishing in the parking lot.
The 1 Mile Family Fun Run is untimed but all participants will still receive a shirt and a medal.
This event will take place rain or shine. There are no refunds or transfers due to weather.

Packet Pick-Up Opportunities
Drive-Thru Packet Pick-up will be available on the following day:
- Wednesday, November 22nd from 8am-7pm
Packet Pick-up is located at Red Mountain Soccer Complex (map) in the South parking lot (corner of Sunvalley Blvd and Adobe St)
Race Day packet pick-up will be available on Thursday, November 23rd at Red Mountain Park (race location) beginning at 6:30am.
