Please make plans to JOIN US for this very special road race event – the inaugural running of the “Kyra Karr Memorial 5K or Fun Run/Walk” to be held Saturday morning, October 21st at 8:00 AM in Downtown Cartersville, GA and hosted by TBC of Cartersville. This very special race is being run in memory of Kyra Karr, a native of Cartersville and an IMB missionary who served in Italy. Kyra was tragically killed in a car accident in 2015, but her legacy of loving and serving the body of Christ lives on! The Kyra Karr Foundation exists to glorify God by serving and supporting the local church. All proceeds from this event benefit the Kyra Karr Foundation. Registration: $30 5K Pre-Race Registration Fee or $20 Fun Run / Prayer Walk Pre-Race Registration Fee. Pre-Race Registration runs until 11:00 PM, Sunday evening, October 15th and you must register by this date to guarantee your T-shirt size and lock in at the reduced rate! $40 5K Race Day Registration Rate / $25 Fun Run / Prayer Walk Race Day Registration Fee.
Please see the attached 5K Route Map. The route itself is a 3-times looping route in and around Downtown Cartersville, GA. The route is very flat and very fast!
Race Start-Finish & Race Day Parking:
Both the Start and Finish Line(s) are located in parking lot of Tabernacle Baptist Church located at 31 Douglas St., Cartersville, GA. There is plenty of parking available in the main lot just across Douglas St. from the Church property itself. Additionally, BOTH the Start & Finish lines will be located in the West side of the parking lot adjacent to Gilmer St. PLEASE NOTE: The Gilmer Street entrance to the Parking lot will be closed approximately 1 hour prior to and during the race. Thus, you will need to plan to enter/exit the parking lot off of Douglas St.

Pre-Race Packet Pick-up for those pre-registered:
Pre-Race Packet Pick-up will be held Friday, October 20th from 10 AM – 6 PM in the "drive through" Portico of Tabernacle Baptist Church. TBC is located at 31 Douglas St., Cartersville, GA. - HOWEVER the "drive through" Portico location is on the east side of the Church Facility - access off of Tennessee St. - Directly across from Walgreens.
