Event Description
Project SEARCH is a high school transition to work program for young adults with disabilities that takes place entirely at the workplace (Ebenezer Middle School). The goal for each student in this program is competitive employment. The program provides real life work experiences combined with training in employability and independent living skills to help young adults make successful transitions from school to productive adult life.
A portion of the money raised at this event will be donated to the Effingham County High School Beta Club. The Beta Club is dedicated to leading by serving others. The Beta community recognizes high academic achievement, rewards and nurtures worthy character, fosters leadership skills, and encourages service to others. The remaining money will be used to support the Project SEARCH program.
