Dominican Heritage Month 5K – Virtual & In-Person Race
The Dominican Heritage Month 5K is an annual event, now celebrating its 5th edition. The race was founded by cultural organizer David Nuñez and is proudly organized by the athletic club Dominican Runners, Inc.
This event is offered in both virtual and in-person formats, allowing participants to run or walk 5K either at the official location or from anywhere in the world, at their own pace and on their own route.
The Dominican Heritage Month 5K celebrates Dominican culture, heritage, and pride in the United States, with special recognition of New York City, home to one of the largest Dominican diasporas.
