Event Description

The Yoakum Shape Shop is proud to sponsor the 13th Annual Dash for Downs 5K and Kids Fun Run on May 9, 2026, in historic downtown Yoakum, Texas. This meaningful community event raises funds to support the Down Syndrome Foundation of South Texas while bringing families, runners, walkers and supporters together for a day of encouragement, awareness, and fun. 

Each year, Dash for Downs continues to grow, welcoming more than 300 participants and volunteers who come together to celebrate inclusion, promote awareness for Down syndrome, and make a lasting impact in the lives of individuals and families in our community. 

Whether you run, walk, or cheer from the sidelines, every participant plays an important role in helping us spread awareness and support a great cause. Join us as we move with purpose, celebrate community, and make every step count!
