The course follows part of the Long Beach Marathon course along the scenic beach path with ocean breezes and beautiful views. The beach restrooms open at sunrise and there are plenty of drinking fountains along the course. There will be a fully stocked aid station at the start area, with Gatorade, water, bananas, chips, cookies, and more.
Beautiful 3" spinning medal to all finishers.
This race is also part 5 of the Summer 7 Day Challenge. Those who complete the race distance each day for seven days straight receive a t-shirt and belt buckle in addition to their daily medals, but you don't need to do all seven days to participate!

5:30 AM - MARATHON / ¾ / EARLY START
7:00 AM - HALF / 15K / 10K / 5K START
Runners doing either the full or ¾ marathon must start at 5:30. All other racers have the option to start at either 5:30 or 7:00.
WHERE: Beach Path Parking Lot at 54th and Ocean, directly across from 5415 East Ocean Boulevard Long Beach, CA. The set-up area is at the north end of the parking lot near the start of the beach bike/pedestrian path, closest to the restrooms.
PARKING: Street parking on East Ocean Blvd near the start area is free, but very limited because of all the surrounding residences. Parking in the pay parking lot at the start area is $1 per hour. The meters only accept quarters or credit/debit cards. You are responsible for your own parking.
RACES: The marathon, ¾, & half course is out 3.275 miles then back. The course is ran twice for the half marathon, thrice for the ¾ marathon, and four times for the full marathon. For the 5K, the course is out 1.55 miles then back. For the 10K, it’s out 3.1 miles then back. For the 15K, runners will do the 10K course and then go along the 5K course.
