31st El Grito 5k run/walk - Sunday, September 13, 2026 at 9am

Start & finish hosted by MSU Denver (900 Auraria Parkway, Denver, CO 80204)

In 1994, a group of friends with a love for running, founded El Grito 5k to celebrate heritage, recognizing Mexican Independence Day, and with a desire to support students in track & field. The run/walk has become an annual tradition for our community to come together, sharing joy, solidarity, and good health. 

• Kids Fun Run (10 and under): free but no t-shirt
• 14 & under: free but no t-shirt
• Regular race registration: $30... must be registered by September 4, 2026 (includes signature Tarahumara t-shirt & race bib, burrito, beer/hydration beverage)
• Students: $20 (receive same as regular)
• Raceday registration: $35
• Vendor registration: $150... includes 2 race entries, free parking for one vehicle, space in the post race area (must provide own table, tent, chairs), opportunity to promote your product or service to sponsors, other vendors, and race participants; logo/name on website; name on sponsor poster... to register, visit https://elgritorunnersinc.org/vendor-registration
