Event Description

After a two year hiatus, the running community brought back the 10+ year Grants Pass Half Marathon back to life!  In addition to the Half Marathon, we are running a 10k, 5k, and Kids race (with a costume theme) and a full Marathon.  Racers are more than welcome to wear costumes in any of the races.

The beautiful fall scenery of the route captures the perfect autumn scenery along the majestic Rouge River.  A good portion of the route, not only runs parallel to the river, a stone’s throw away, but also features constant views of the Siskiyou Mountain Range.  The run will be mainly flat, with some slight rolling features, as it follows a locally renown road bike route.  Opposite the River, the runners in the Half Marathon will enjoy running alongside the farms, a nature preserve, and will pass a Corn Maize in the longest race.

As many of you know, the race previously ran part of the race route downtown Grants Pass.  Due to 6th Street Bridge Construction, the race will be on the beautiful country roads of Lower River Road, and Upper River Road.  The maps will be posted soon on our website.
