Event Description

The Brooklyn Greenway Half & 5K: 

Brooklyn Greenway Initiative presents the Brooklyn Greenway Half – the only half marathon and 5K exclusively on the Brooklyn Waterfront Greenway, located on the historic East River waterfront in Brooklyn. The Brooklyn Greenway Half course is a Red Hook-Greenpoint loop and offers unique and memorable urban views including the skylines of midtown and lower Manhattan and the iconic Brooklyn, Manhattan and Williamsburg Bridges.

Everyone Can Help: You can volunteer in a range of roles, including bib pick up, setup, water stations, directing traffic, set up and pack down, crowd control and more.

No matter if you’re young, old, love running or never raced before, if you’d like to be part of the Brooklyn Greenway Half – we are looking forward to seeing you!

Volunteer Training: Volunteers will receive an information guide via email that will provide all details pertaining to volunteering at event.
